Description

We’re looking for a warm, reliable live-in carer to support my mum in her home in Asquith, just a 2-minute walk from the station. My mum is friendly, easy-going, loves cracking jokes and is a genuine pleasure to be around.

You’ll live in with my mum and my sister, with your own large private room and a bathroom shared only with my sister (not the household).

About the role:

• Support with providing supplements and medicines, taking Mum to appointments, grocery shopping, exercise classes and social outings

• Some home cooking (Indian/Nepalese cooking experience or comfort with these cuisines a big plus)

• Some housekeeping

• Must hold a current driver’s licence and be confident driving

What we’re looking for:

• Female carer





• Background in aged care or nursing strongly preferred

• Friendly, bubbly, patient and genuinely caring nature

• Reliable and trustworthy — this is someone who’ll become part of the household

• Preferably from Indian/Nepalese background

This is a live-in position offering board plus salary. A excellent fit for someone who wants a secure, family-oriented home workplace. The position would start as soon as we find the right person.
