About the role

This is a full-time position within a friendly but fast-paced automotive workshop. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out vehicle servicing, diagnostics, repairs and maintenance while maintaining a high standard of workmanship and customer service.

Key responsibilities
Perform routine servicing and scheduled maintenance of light vehicles
Diagnose and repair diesel fuel systems
Conduct vehicle safety inspections
Perform general mechanical repairs and maintenance
Diagnose and repair brake, clutch and steering systems
Replace timing belts and related components
Diagnose, repair and service fuel injection systems
Diagnose and repair automotive electrical faults
Remove and replace engines and transmissions
Diagnose and service automotive air-conditioning systems

About you
Trade qualification as a Light Vehicle Motor Mechanic / Automotive Motor Mechanic
Relevant professional experience in automotive mechanical repairs and servicing




Current open C-class manual driver's licence
Demonstrated ability to use automotive diagnostic scan tools
Sound knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work effectively within a team
Willingness to learn and develop current technical skills
Experience working with European vehicles will be highly regarded
