We two openings, one for a junior kennel attendant and one for a senior. Either position could be full time or casual.

Requirements for both are:-

Must genuinely love dogs and be passionate about their care.

Must be physically fit and prepared to work outside in different weather conditions when necessary.

Have a valuable eye for detail so you can spot any potential problems.

Able to follow directions carefully and ask if not sure.

Prepared to do everything needed to keep the dogs happy and healthy such as cleaning kennels, yards, water vessels and beds daily. (lots of pooper scooping in yards)

Must have private transport as public transport would not be workable.

Happy to work as part of a team but also capable of working alone.





For the junior position we would live to find someone who intends making animal care their chosen career and although not a necessity, either be studying animal care or dog training or intend to do either.

For the senior position we would like to find someone with experience in working with dogs or qualifications in any animal related field and there would be an chance for a higher position depending on experience and qualifications.
