Job Description

We are looking for two part-time Porters who will create a welcoming setting for everyone who comes into our hotel. You will be based at our Concierge desk on the ground floor and will be the first person guests and visitors engage with. Our guests will look for your assistance with their luggage, questions about the hotel and information about the conference precinct and Melbourne in general.

Your responsibilities will include:
Be present at the Concierge desk or in the lobby to be ready to assist guests, colleagues and visitors
Provide knowledgeable and friendly service to guests, visitors, contractors and colleagues
Ensure collection and delivery of guest luggage in an productive and timely manner
Assist guests with any enquiries or concerns
Provide accurate information about hotel facilities and Melbourne attractions
Communicate with other departments to ensure relevant information is communicated
Assist in maintaining a safe and secure workplace for guests
