About the role

Can-Do Albany is a provider of support services for children and young adults. Using a mentoring model, the focus of individual support is regulation, social skills development, building independence, resilience and community engagement, school readiness and ongoing school participation, and change and transitions (including employment readiness). The position available is permanent part time (up to 30 hours weekly) which will include some after-school hours and could include Saturday work.

Key responsibilities
Provide individual support to neurodiverse and neurotypical children and young adults
Support regulation and social skills development
Build independence, resilience and community engagement
Support school readiness and ongoing school participation
Support change and transitions, including employment readiness
Assist in strengthening family capacity

About you
Completed or undertaking relevant tertiary level or TAFE qualifications




Current Working with Children Check (or able to obtain)
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or able to obtain)
Passion for supporting children and young adults to reach their full potential

Can-Do Albany is a provider of support services for children and young adults located in Albany, Western Australia. Our client group is comprised of neurodiverse and neurotypical children and young adults, and their families. From a neurodiverse perspective, Autism Spectrum Disorder, PDA and ADHD are common presenting diagnoses.
