Role Summary The Spanish-Speaking Junior Channel Manager is a casual role responsible for supporting the day-to-day management of Spanish Language social media channels for the Radar business unit. Radar is a division of WTFN. Within the role you will assist with uploading videos, writing and translating copy, creating thumbnails, and moderating the community, while working closely with editors and channel managers.
Working two days per week, with flexibility around existing commitments, this role offers hands-on experience across video editing, channel management, content creation and Spanish-language digital media under the direction of the Team Lead: Channel Managers
Key Responsibilities
Channel management of Spanish Language social media channels
Assist with the rollout of strategies and management of content schedules under the direction of the Team Lead: Channel Managers
Upload and schedule videos on YouTube
Write and translate video titles, descriptions, chapters and other copy between English and Spanish
Create thumbnails and other graphic assets
Community management and moderation
Assist in growing audiences and generating revenue through understanding and applying monetisation optimisations
Brief editors to create video content
Provide regular feedback and communication on channel performance metrics
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of platform best practices and developments and ensure these are applied
Assist with media management, asset creation and content tasks as required
Any other production or channel management task as directed by the Team Lead: Channel Managers, and such other duties as fall within your skill, competence and training and are reasonably expected in accordance with the schedule and budget of the Project
Role Competencies
Solid organisation and communication skills
Positive time management
Excellent written English and attention to detail
Excellent Spanish translation and writing skills
Working knowledge of, and hands-on editing experience with, Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop
Demonstrable experience managing entertainment brand channels across multiple platforms including YouTube, Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram and Tiktok
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Position Details
