An exciting prospect is available for an experienced Procurement professional to join a large government department and lead complex tenders across indirect goods and services spend . This is a 6 month contract position on a hourly/daily rate commensurate with around $130-150K per annum level candidates.

This role sits within a high-performing sourcing team and will see you driving end to end procurement activities from market engagement and tender documentation through to evaluation, negotiation, and contract award.
Lead complex sourcing projects delivering strong value for money outcomes
Develop procurement strategies, RFx documentation, and commercial recommendations
Partner with senior stakeholders to guide decision-making and procurement governance
Ensure compliance with government procurement frameworks and probity standards
Manage supplier engagement, evaluations, and negotiations

You’ll thrive in this role if you bring solid tender management experience , excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to provide transparent, commercial procurement advice in complex environments . Candidates with Public Sector Procurement experience will be favoured.
