About the role

Daylight Artistry is a family-owned business specialising in the installation of skylights and ventilation systems across Canberra and surrounding regions. We're looking for a reliable, hardworking Installation Assistant to join our team. This is a hands-on role working alongside our experienced installers, assisting with installations on residential and commercial properties.

Key responsibilities
Assisting with skylight and ventilation installations
Working alongside our experienced installation team
Loading and unloading tools, equipment and materials
Setting up and packing down job sites
Assisting with roof and ceiling work
Keeping work areas clean, organised and safe
Following workplace health and safety procedures
Providing professional and respectful service while working in customers' homes

About you
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Enjoys practical, hands-on work
Comfortable working at heights and on roofs
Physically fit and capable of manual work




Positive attitude and willing to learn
Takes pride in their workmanship and presentation
Works well as part of a team
Can follow instructions and use initiative
Holds a current Australian driver's licence, White Card, Asbestos Awareness and Silica cards
Previous experience in construction, roofing, carpentry, skylight installation or another trade environment would be highly regarded, but isn't essential for the right person
