Senior Wireless Network Engineer

Perth, WA | 3-Month Contract | ASAP Start

We are seeking an experienced Senior Wireless Network Engineer to join our client’s team in Perth on an initial 3-month contract .

Key Responsibilities:
Design, configure, implement and support enterprise wireless networks.
Troubleshoot complex Wi-Fi connectivity, performance, roaming and RF issues.
Perform wireless assessments, RF analysis, optimisation and capacity planning.
Configure and support wireless controllers, access points and network management platforms.
Work closely with LAN, WAN, security and infrastructure teams.
Maintain network documentation and support incident/change management activities.

About You:




Solid experience in enterprise wireless networking .
Hands-on experience with Cisco Wireless / Catalyst 9800 environments.
Solid knowledge of 802.11 Wi-Fi standards, RF fundamentals and wireless security .
Experience with Ekahau or equivalent wireless survey tools.
Solid understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, switching and routing .
Experience with 802.1X, RADIUS and AAA .
Cisco certifications such as CCNP and/or Ekahau certification are highly desirable.
Excellent troubleshooting, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
