About the role

You will be helping with the day-to-day running of the front of our store, assisting customers and supporting our sales, parts and workshop teams. This is a wide-ranging position that would suit someone who enjoys dealing with people, working in a hands-on setting and being part of a small team.

Key responsibilities
Serving and assisting customers in-store
Answering incoming phone calls and customer enquiries
Assisting customers with parts identification and parts interpretation
Preparing and processing invoices
Entering invoices and maintaining accurate records
Receiving, checking and putting away stock
Stock control and general store organisation
Contacting customers regarding repairs, orders and collections
Organising and completing local deliveries and pickups
Keeping the showroom, counter and shop clean and presentable

About you




Has a current Australian driver's licence
Has excellent customer service and communication skills
Is confident speaking with customers face-to-face and over the phone
Is organised and able to multitask
Has good computer skills and is comfortable entering information into a system
Has good attention to detail
Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work
Is willing to learn about mower, small engine and outdoor power equipment parts
Can work independently but also enjoys being part of a team
Is physically capable of handling stock and assisting with deliveries
