Leading Hand – Residential Construction (Sydney)

Established Sydney building company specialising in full home renovations, second storey additions and dual occupancy projects. We’re looking for an experienced Leading Hand to run day-to-day site operations, with a genuine pathway to obtaining your building licence.

The role
Run the site day-to-day and keep the job moving to program
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors across all trades
Set out, quality control and problem solving on site
Hands-on carpentry/general building work as required
Liaise directly with the Director on progress, materials and variations
Maintain a clean, safe and compliant site (WHS)

What we need:
Trade qualified (carpentry preferred) with solid residential renovation experience
Proven experience leading a site or crew




Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and finishes
White Card, own tools and reliable transport
Driver’s licence essential
Valuable communicator — comfortable dealing with subbies, suppliers and clients
