We are seeking a passionate and experienced Specialist Mathematics Teacher to join a highly regarded all-boys private school in Brisbane. This is a permanent, full time opportunity commencing in Term 3, 2026 , within a supportive and high-performing academic environment.

About the Role Key responsibilities include:
Teaching Specialist Mathematics across Years 7–12




Delivering high-quality teaching and learning aligned with contemporary Mathematics pedagogy
Contributing to the development and review of assessment materials for the QCAA Unit 1–4 Specialist Mathematics syllabus
Collaborating with colleagues to ensure consistency in curriculum delivery, assessment practices, and revision programs
Engaging in professional dialogue and curriculum planning to support continuous improvement and student success

About You The successful candidate will demonstrate:
Proven experience teaching Specialist Mathematics
A strong understanding of effective pedagogical practices in Mathematics education
Experience in or an appreciation for boys’ education (highly regarded)
A team-oriented approach and commitment to skilled growth

Requirements
Relevant teaching qualification
Current (or eligibility for) Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration
Full working rights in Australia
