About The Role

We are seeking experienced Special Class Welders (structural welding) to join our team on a major shipbuilding program. This is an exciting chance to contribute to Australia's defence capability while enjoying excellent conditions, outstanding pay rates, and long-term project security.

About You
Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
Special Class Welder qualifications and experience in structural welding
Skilled in high-integrity welding to a minimum of AS 1554.1 standards
Must be willing to undergo a medical assessment and provide a explicit Federal Police Check
Must pass a welding test prior to acceptance into the roleSafety-focused
Reliable
Recognised Welder Qualification certificate at current organisation in FCAW / MCAW processes preferred for steel
Skilled in welding to shipbuilding classification standards
Experience using semi-automated weld tractors
