Kapinara Primary School is seeking an organised, energetic and community‑minded Canteen Manager to lead our canteen team of three. This role suits someone who enjoys creating fresh, healthy food, working independently, and fostering a positive workplace for staff, volunteers and families.

About the Role

You will manage the day‑to‑day operation of the school canteen, which is open Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays during term time. The position is approximately 20 hours per week and reports directly to the Kapinara P&C;.

Key responsibilities include food preparation, menu planning, stock control, volunteer coordination, and maintaining excellent hygiene and safety standards. You will also manage QuickCliq online ordering, process daily orders, update menus, order supplies, monitor weekly sales and provide financial reports per term.

Friendly, confident communication with staff and students
Experience in food handling, catering or canteen operations (desirable)
Ability to manage QuickCliq ordering and menu updates
