An experienced legal assistant who is highly organised and proactive is needed to join the team as an integral part of the practice. Based in Maida Vale, this is a dynamic and expanding practice with future growth potential and excellent, flexible conditions of employment.

Position Details

This is a hands-on position suited to an experienced legal assistant who is highly organised, confident managing competing priorities and works efficiently and accurately meeting deadlines and the highest standards.

Key responsibilities will include:

· Providing direct administrative support to the firm’s Principal and legal team

· Managing diaries, appointments, court dates, deadlines and other critical dates

· Preparing, formatting and managing correspondence, court documents, briefs to counsel and other legal documentation

· Liaising professionally with clients, barristers, courts, tribunals and other external parties

· Monitoring deadlines and proactively following up outstanding tasks, potential clients and active matters

· Maintaining accurate electronic matter files,



records and data within the firm’s practice management systems

· Providing general administrative and operational support to the team as required; and

· Delivering a consistently high standard of client service.

Other Details of the Prospect

· Our client is very family-friendly and believes strongly in work/life balance. Adaptable start/finish times are available as is the option to work from home at times to make the role as manageable as possible for the successful candidate

· A salary of about $65,000 to 70,000 plus super is available for an experienced assistant

· Parking is provided

· A full handover will be provided and any necessary training
