We are seeking 1st class boilermakers /welders to join our team. This can be a casual or fulltime position, mainly located in a workshop in Thornton. We work in a wide range of industries, giving a diverse workload.

M&S; Fabrications is a fabrication company specializing in light to heavy steel fabrication in the Hunter region. With 30 years experience in the industry we have a robust client base.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

Reliable

Have robust MIG welding capabilities (weld test required as part of interview process)

Trade Certificate for qualified Boilermakers

Advanced welding experience to AS1554.1 & ASME IX

Ability to maintain high work standards with minimum supervision





Time management and ability to prioritize competing demands

Ability to problem solve and take pride in their work.

Ability to read and interpret ISO plans and drawings

Can manage working within a small work team.

Have a robust commitment to safety and quality

General Construction Induction (White Card)

Drivers Licence

Desirable:

Pressure welding certification

Forklift Licence and overhead crane
