A well-established Tier 2 civil contractor is expanding its team following a strong run of recent Sydney Water project wins across the Sydney market.

They are looking for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to take ownership of key water and wastewater infrastructure packages and help deliver a growing pipeline of work.

The role You’ll work closely with the Project Manager and site team across Sydney Water projects, taking responsibility for:
Project delivery from planning through to completion
Managing subcontractors and suppliers




Programming and short-term planning
QA, ITPs and project documentation
Cost control, variations and forecasting
Client and stakeholder liaison
Supporting and mentoring junior engineers
Driving safety, quality and programme outcomes

What they’re looking for
5+ years’ civil construction experience
Previous Sydney Water / water infrastructure experience highly regarded
Experience across pipelines, utilities, drainage, pump stations, treatment or associated civil works
Strong site delivery and subcontractor management skills
Good commercial and programming knowledge
Civil Engineering degree
Someone capable of taking ownership and hitting the ground running
