Job Title: Tech Lead / Solutions Architect – GRC & SaaS Implementation
Work Type: Contract (6 Months Initial)
Daily Rate: $950 – $1,200/day inc. super (DOE)
Location: Brisbane (Hybrid / Flexible)

About the Role
A prominent public-sector organisation is executing a key digital transformation initiative to modernise its enterprise risk framework.
We are seeking a Client-Side Tech Lead / Solution Architect to own the technical architecture, target state design, and delivery oversight for a recent modern SaaS GRC platform.

Sitting on the client side of the engagement, you will act as the technical authority—evaluating platform architecture, mapping legacy workflows, and leading vendor engineering teams through implementation.

Key Responsibilities
Phase 1 (Months 1–3): Lead technical target-state design, API/integration architecture, and legacy data migration strategy. Assess SaaS platform capabilities against complex business requirements.
Phase 2 (Months 4–6): Transition into technical delivery oversight. Drive configuration testing, manage defect resolution, and oversee security/system integrations through to go-live.

Key Requirements




Demonstrated track record as a Solutions Architect or Tech Lead managing enterprise SaaS platform implementations.
Deep knowledge of GRC/Risk frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, or APRA guidelines).
Hands-on capability in system integration design (APIs, Identity Access Management, Cloud infrastructure).
Experience sitting on the client side to evaluate vendor bids, manage vendor delivery, and direct technical teams.
Solid background handling legacy data migrations within government or enterprise environments.
Experience on GRC solutions design and implementation (e.g., ServiceNow IRM, Protecht, OneTrust, Archer, 6clicks)

Contract Details
Initial 6-month contract with a solid likelihood of a 3- to 6-month extension pending delivery milestones.
