Phillip Riley Projects is proud to be partnering with a global leader in Operations & Maintenance services for renewable generation and storage assets to find an experienced Electrician for a permanent position maintaining a utility-scale Solar Farn

The Chance

This is a permanent opportunity to join a high-performing site team, taking ownership of the day-to-day maintenance and operation of a utility-scale solar facility. You'll test, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, commission and modify critical plant components — including solar modules, inverters, tracker motors, transformers, switchgear and metering systems — all while keeping performance optimised and visible through the onsite SCADA system.

What You'll Do
Support project planning, installations, commissioning, inspections and performance testing
Contribute to and enforce maintenance procedures and work instructions
Complete work orders and maintain accurate documentation and reporting
Liaise with remote operators and cross-functional teams to resolve plant issues

What You'll Bring
2+ years' experience in a related role,



or hands-on experience with power plant electrical systems, SCADA/controls, and preventative/corrective maintenance
A valid unrestricted Electrical Licence
Current First Aid & Low Voltage Rescue certification
White Card and current Driver's Licence
Confidence testing and troubleshooting MV/HV equipment — transformers, breakers, relays, contactors, motors and inverters
Familiarity with CMMS platforms and strong MS Office skills
A self-motivated, safety-first mindset and the highest level of integrity
