JP Recruitment is seeking a motivated Trades Assistant to join a well-established and growing premium fence and gate manufacturer based in Malaga.

Known as Perth’s go-to specialists for fence design, manufacturing, and installation, this company prides itself on quality workmanship and a supportive team culture. They are looking for individuals who can uphold their high-quality standards.

About the Role:
You will assist production across both the welding and assembly workshop areas, contributing to the smooth production of high-quality fencing products. The role will entail using various hand tools and power tools. Training will be provided and if you like variety this would appeal to you.

Key duties include:
Finishing welds using grinders and disc polishers
Cutting steel for welders, loading supply trolley with steel
General workshop tasks such as assembly of gates and associated components
Working in the assembly area to collect and prepare nuts, bolts, and components




Collating job orders for assembly
Ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks

Requirements:
Experience using hand and power tools
Attention to detail and able to ensure quality standards are met
Reliable with positive communication skills
Current driver’s licence and own transport
Full working rights
Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
Forklift licence is desirable

On offer is an hourly rate of $35.88. Pay is weekly. The hours are Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:00pm, and you will be paid for 8 hours each day. Permanency is intended and will be offered at the client's discretion.
