Description
Forgepoint Recruitment is seeking experienced Warehouse Loaders for an established steel and reinforcement supplier based in Lidcombe. This is an ongoing casual role with a busy, well-run warehouse team and genuine long-term potential for the right person.
You'll be picking and preparing customer orders, loading trucks safely and accurately, and moving processed steel using forklifts and overhead cranes. It's hands-on work in a quick-moving workplace where accuracy matters as much as pace.

What you'll be doing
Picking and preparing customer orders against documentation
Loading and restraining orders onto trucks for delivery
Operating forklifts and overhead cranes safely and efficiently
Receiving, checking and storing incoming goods
Assisting with stocktakes and inventory control
Supporting the machinists with bundling and moving processed steel
Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and protected





What you'll need
Current forklift licence (LF) - essential
Overhead crane experience - essential
Previous warehouse experience, ideally around steel, building products or heavy materials
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
Reliable, safety-focused and able to work in a team
Own transport, as the site isn't well served by public transport
Full working rights in Australia
