We're partnering with a leading enterprise organisation to recruit a Payroll Engineer to join their Workforce Systems team. Reporting to the Head of Workforce Systems, you'll play a key role in supporting, enhancing and maintaining critical HCM and payroll applications that underpin a large and complex workforce setting.

Operating within a product-led technology model, you'll work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams and strategic partners to ensure workforce systems remain stable, secure and aligned to business priorities. You'll contribute across the full service lifecycle, including configuration, operations, support, change, release management and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Support the ongoing configuration, operation and enhancement of HCM and payroll platforms.
Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into practical solutions.
Coordinate incidents, problems, changes and service delivery activities.
Support testing, releases, cutovers and service transition activities.
Maintain operational documentation, procedures, reporting and knowledge articles.
Support compliance,



security, audit and governance requirements.
Identify opportunities to improve automation, standardisation and supportability.
Build robust relationships with stakeholders, vendors and delivery partners.

About You
Experience supporting HCM, HRIS and/or payroll systems.
Strong understanding of enterprise applications and service management practices.
Experience with change, release, incident and problem management processes.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Solid analytical, documentation and problem-solving capabilities.
Experience working within complex enterprise environments.
A proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement and service excellence.

Desirable
Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent service management experience.
Relevant vendor, platform or cloud certifications.
