Lead one of Shoal Bay’s busiest cafés!

Mermaids Café is a well-established, high-volume café at the heart of Shoal Bay Country Club, with a robust local following and a steady flow of visitors year-round.

We’re looking for an experienced Café Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day operation, lead a team of up to 20 staff and ensure the café continues to deliver a consistently great experience for every guest.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys being on the floor, leading from the front and keeping a busy operation running smoothly. You’ll have the support of an established hospitality group while having genuine ownership of your venue.

What you’ll do
Manage daily café operations and service flow
Lead, train and develop a team of up to 20 staff
Maintain high standards across food and beverage quality
Oversee ordering, stock levels and cost control
Drive solid customer service and guest experience




Ensure smooth operations in a high-volume environment

What we’re looking for
2–3 or more years’ experience in a busy café or hospitality venue
Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop teams
Solid operational management and organisational skills
Strong focus on customer service
Ability to perform in fast-paced, high-energy environments

Requirements
Valid RSA
Availability to work weekends
