These are two of Western Australia's premier gold operations, with ongoing investment and exploration taking place across both open pit and underground operations at each site.The opportunityWe are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Instrumentation Technician to join our processing team on a full time permanent basis.Accountable to the Senior Production Metallurgist, this role is responsible for servicing, repairing and optimising the processing plant instruments.This role is based at ourTropicana Gold Mine– FIFO 8/6 from Perth or Kalgoorlie.The key accountabilities of the role include but are not limited to:Maintaining, servicing and calibrating plant instrumentsTroubleshooting and optimisation of instrumentsDeveloping and optimising instrument PM schedulesMaking recommendations for trialling new instrumentsProviding relief assistance in the gold roomTechnical support for Processing departmentKey RequirementsA Western Australian "A" class Electrical licence with Certificate IV in Electrical InstrumentationHave previous experience and an understanding of a highly automated plantExperience with Allen Bradley and CITECTBe self-motivated and enjoy troubleshootingWA C class driver's licenceExisting and ongoing permanent work rights in Australia (Mandatory)A National Police ClearanceCulture and benefitsBelong at AngloGold Ashanti Australia and make gold a part of your story.
