We're looking for an experienced Service Electrician to join our team at Royal North Shore Hospital, taking ownership of day-to-day electrical maintenance to keep a critical healthcare facility running safely.What you'll be doingCarrying out Preventive Planned Maintenance (PPM)RCD testingBody/cardiac protection testingThermal scanningInstalling electrical and data communications works to a high standardFault-finding on electrical and data communications systemsScheduled and reactive maintenance and repairsLiaising directly with hospital staff, clearly explaining the work undertakenCompleting job paperwork and compliance documentation on timeWorking safely and adhering to site and company safety standards at all timesAbout youValid Electrical Licence and trade qualifications (essential)Registered Communications and Data Cabler with endorsements (preferred)Strong fault-finding and technical problem-solving skillsGreat communicator with solid customer service skills — comfortable working in a live hospital environment around staff and patientsExperience in a commercial environment, with a strong safety mindsetTeam player who supports colleagues when neededComfortable managing competing priorities and tight deadlines without dropping qualityValid driver's licence, you'll be driving a company service van between tasks/sitesBenefits:Company vehicle and mobile phone12 additional leave days (RDOs) per yearOngoing training and genuine career progression pathwaysEmployee Assistance Program accessA stable, long-term role with a well-established company (65+ years in the industry)Supportive, collaborative team culture.Ready to join the team?
