DBT Therapist-In-TrainingJoin our team as a DBT Therapist-In-Training and help individuals build skills for lasting emotional wellness and recovery.
Under the direction of a Licensed Therapist or Licensed Psychologist, this role provides assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services for individuals experiencing mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders, with a robust emphasis on Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and evidence-based practices.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide individual, family, couples, and group psychotherapy services.Facilitate DBT-focused individual and group therapy, including skills training in mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness.Conduct clinical assessments, develop diagnoses, and create collaborative treatment plans.Deliver psychoeducation and skill-building services to clients and supports.Participate in treatment/recovery team meetings and clinical supervision.Maintain timely, accurate documentation and client records.Provide trauma-informed,



person-centered care aligned with agency standards and evidence-based practices.QualificationsMaster's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field.Eligibility for a Wisconsin training license (APSW, LPC-IT, or MFT-IT).
