We take pride in our superior service level and celebrate our employees – the heart of our company's success.ResponsibilitiesAbout the RoleReporting to the Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of haul trucks within a large-scale open cut mining workplace.
You will play a key role in supporting production targets while maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance and teamwork.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely operate haul trucks in accordance with site procedures.Transport ore and waste material to designated dump locations.Conduct pre-start inspections and report equipment defects.Utilise MineStar GPS technology to accurately haul material.Maintain situational awareness and identify potential hazards.Participate in toolbox meetings and safety initiatives.Work collaboratively within a production mining team.Ensure compliance with environmental and operational standards.QualificationsAbout YouTo Be Successful In This Role, You Will DemonstratePrevious haul truck or heavy machinery operating experience (highly regarded).
