They are looking for a Systems Engineer to join their team in Adelaide on a permanent basis.The Systems Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:Proven experience in a Systems Engineering position within the Aerospace & Defence sectorDegree qualified in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Marine Engineering or a related disciplineStrong experience with requirements engineering, including capture, decomposition, traceability, verification and change managementStrong experience across Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)Experience with system integration, integration planning, Verification & Validation (V&V;)Experience with configuration management and baseline management processesExperience preparing engineering artefacts to support formal design reviews, including SRR, PDR,



CDR and acceptance activitiesPrevious experience leading or mentoring engineering teams would be highly desirableStrong stakeholder management and customer-facing communication skillsApplicants must be Australian Citizens and be eligible to obtain an Australian Defence Security ClearanceThe Systems Engineer role will involve:Working across Model-Based Systems Engineering activities across the product development lifecycleDeveloping and maintaining Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and managing system interfacesSupporting configuration management and baseline control throughout developmentProducing and maintaining systems engineering documentation and technical data packsPreparing engineering artefacts and technical evidence for formal design reviews including SRR, PDR and CDRWorking closely with customers and key stakeholders to ensure project requirements are achievedCollaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver complex, high-performance defence systemsSupporting continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to the ongoing growth of the engineering function
