Sydney or Melbourne based, with flexible working arrangements and office or site attendance guided by project and delivery requirementsInitial 12-month contract, with extensions anticipatedAbout the roleThis is an chance to lead complex physical infrastructure projects within a major national digital-infrastructure programme.Working in a global technology services environment, you will take ownership of projects deploying hardware and technology configurations across multiple sites.
You will lead delivery from planning and site readiness through physical build, installation, commissioning and go-live.You will work closely with customers, technical teams and third-party delivery partners across infrastructure areas including network, storage and compute.What you'll doLead multiple infrastructure projects through the full delivery lifecycleDevelop and manage detailed project plans, critical paths, budgets, resources, risks and dependenciesCoordinate technical teams, vendors and third-party delivery partners across multiple sitesMaintain commercial oversight across project costs, revenue, forecasting and delivery performanceBuild trusted customer relationships and communicate confidently with senior and executive stakeholdersResolve delivery challenges,
manage difficult conversations and keep projects movingSupport and mentor Project Managers and Project Coordinators within the wider teamThe skills you'll bringAt least 10 years of IT, network or infrastructure project-management experienceDirect experience leading large, multi-site deployments of physical technology infrastructureExperience covering site readiness, infrastructure build, hardware and configuration deployment, commissioning and go-liveThe ability to manage several projects concurrently across different infrastructure technologiesIdeally, experience within a technology consultancy, professional services, systems integration or managed services environmentStrong customer-facing communication, stakeholder management and conflict-resolution skillsCommercial experience managing project costs, revenue, budgets and forecastsA collaborative approach grounded in humility, accountability and sound judgementExperience delivering data-centre infrastructure or large-scale deployments across network, storage and compute will be highly regarded.What's on offerA key delivery role within a significant national infrastructure programmeMeaningful ownership across the full project lifecycleExposure to complex, high-profile technology environmentsThe opportunity to join and influence a growing Australian delivery teamInitial 12-month contract with extensions anticipated beyond the initial term
