Reporting into senior finance leadership, this role will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day finance function across both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities.Offering a 12-month contract with a strong view to permanency, this position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a hands-on finance role, values accuracy, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts ReceivableAssist with the preparation of customer invoices and statementsDaily receipting and allocation of customer paymentsCreate customer invoices within the accounting systemMaintain debtor ledgers and customer account recordsAssist with customer account queries and reconciliationsAccounts PayableProcess supplier invoices accurately and in a timely mannerPrepare weekly and monthly payment runsIssue supplier payment remittancesReconcile creditor accounts and supplier statementsReconcile company bank accounts and credit cardsRespond to payment-related enquiries from internal and external stakeholdersAdditional ResponsibilitiesComplete daily bank reconciliationsSupport finance administration and record managementAssist with maintaining accurate financial records and compliance requirementsBuild and maintain strong working relationships across the businessAbout You3+ years' experience within an Accounts Officer, Finance Officer or similar positionStrong exposure to both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions within a medium or large-sized organisationStrong computer literacy, including Excel and accounting/ERP systemsHigh attention to detail and strong financial accuracyAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProactive, organised and team-oriented approach to workWhat's on Offer12-month contract with strong potential to become permanent$75,000 - $80,000 + superCBD location with 2 days work from homeBroad and varied finance role across AP and ARSupportive and collaborative team cultureOpportunity to join a stable and growing organisation
