Nextt is looking for a male Disability Support Worker to join an established support team working alongside a male participant in his 30s.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys active support, community engagement and working as part of a collaborative team.The role is 2:1 support, with two Support Workers supporting the participant each day.What You'll Be DoingYour support may include:Providing person-centred support tailored to the participant's individual needs and goalsSwimming with the participant in the pool and supporting safe, positive participation in swimming sessionsSupporting community, social and recreational activitiesFollowing established support plans and Positive Behaviour Support strategiesCompleting accurate shift documentation and recording relevant information to support Allied Health assessmentsCommunicating effectively with the participant, family/support network and Allied Health professionalsWorking collaboratively with the existing support teamMaintaining a professional,



respectful and supportive approach at all timesWhen You'll WorkCasual shifts available:Tuesdays and Wednesdays,8:30am-3:30pm and 10am-2pmOpportunity to pick up additional shifts when the other provider is unable to fill shifts2:1 supportYou don't need to be available every day.
