BenefitsTask & responsibilitiesYou will play a key role in supporting children's daily routines, learning experiences, and overall well‐being in a safe and inclusive environment.
Working collaboratively with educators and families, you will help foster each child's social, emotional, and cognitive development.As the Group Leader you will:Create and implement a responsive educational program aligned with the EYLF, children's interests, and developmental needsFollow the learning cycle through observation, planning, documentation, and reflectionMaintain up-to-date and meaningful documentation, including learning stories, floorbooks, and developmental summariesLead a nurturing and play‐rich environment, fostering secure relationships with children and familiesSupport children's social and emotional development, promoting positive behaviours and respectful interactionsFacilitate engaging learning experiences through stories, music, sensory play, group time, and hands‐on provocationsRespond to children's cues with warmth, curiosity, and intention - reading, playing, and interacting to support emerging skillsOversee daily routines including meals, rest, toileting, and transitions,



ensuring calm and consistent practicePromote a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment, maintaining high standards for supervision, hygiene, and wellbeingCollaborate with your co‐educators, sharing ideas, supporting each other's growth, and contributing to a positive team cultureEngage in ongoing professional learning, reflection, and team meetings to support high‐quality practiceBuild strong partnerships with families, sharing learning, celebrating milestones, and supporting each child's journeyQualification & experienceAn Early Childhood Certificate III, IV and Diploma recognized at a Children's Services Employee Level 4 or higher.At least 12 months of full time work experience in a related roleCurrent First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Management certifications.Robust administrative skills, with a knack for time management.Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and positively with children and adults.Proven leadership skills and high self‐motivation.About CompanyLady Gowry is a Not‐for‐profit organisation with an Heritage in Early Childhood Education in Queendlsand.
