As Practice Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting both our team and the day-to-day running of the hospital.
You'll work closely with the practice owner and senior clinical team to help keep things running smoothly, support our people and ensure we continue to provide an exceptional standard of veterinary care and client service.Key responsibilitiesLeading and supporting our veterinary, nursing and reception teamsSupporting staff development, performance and day-to-day team managementCoordinating rostering and workforce planningHelping maintain a consistently high standard of client care and serviceLiaising with clients and helping resolve concerns or complaints in a professional and compassionate wayOverseeing the smooth day-to-day running of the hospitalHelping improve systems, policies and workflowsSupporting workplace health and safety and practice complianceManaging purchasing and helping maintain operational efficiencyWorking collaboratively with suppliers and external service providersCoordinating equipment, facilities and maintenance requirementsAbout youPrevious experience in practice management, operations management or a comparable senior leadership role preferred.Strong people-management and communication skillsThe confidence to manage difficult conversations when requiredExcellent organisational and time-management skillsStrong attention to detailThe ability to prioritise and manage multiple competing demandsA kind,



supportive approach with the ability to find practical solutionsAn understanding of HR, rostering and workplace processesThe ability to work independently while remaining part of a collaborative leadership teamExperience within the veterinary or healthcare industry would also be highly regarded, but exceptional management experience from another service-based industry will be considered.Experience with RX Works preferredWhat we offerThis is a senior management position designed around a 30-hour working week.
