We have an exciting opportunity to join our Infrastructure Team as an Infrastructure Engineer to help us drive stability and improvements to our PayPoint Group's IT Infrastructure while we continue to push forward with our next gen cloud technology and automation goals.What will you be doing?
The Infrastructure Engineer will ensure automation of tasks is at the forefront of their thinking to enhance speed of deployment of new project work or existing improvements to the infrastructure.The ideal person will have a proven track record in the installation, support and maintenance of advanced Windows and Linux Technologies and be able to demonstrate management of incidents through to resolution.
They will be able to demonstrate an understanding of Infrastructure services to an elevated level for On-Premise, and In-Cloud technologies.
Previous experience of working in the financial sector or the ability to provide examples of working in a service critical environment are advantageous.As an Infrastructure Engineer they will be responsible for ensuring the Infrastructure Services meet all regulatory requirements, namely PCI DSS, ISO*****, and Cyber Security Essentials.
This will include the introduction of standards to ensure conformity within the PayPoint environment.Be responsible for and deliverOperational support of the infrastructure carrying out 2nd and 3rd line analysis of incidents and problemsEngaging with relevant 3rd party support to assist with incident resolutionResolution, Root Cause Analysis, Impact Analysis and Escalation,
should be carried out in a timely manner with detailed documenting of solutions in the ticketing platformEnsure compliance and operation within all company controls and security standardsAssist with Projects and Infrastructure DeliveryProactively drive automation of infrastructure tasks to guarantee the outcome of repeatable tasksIdentify improvements to existing processes ensuring that with agreement, these improvements are implemented in line with PayPoint Group standardsContinuous service improvement through best practice and new and innovative technologiesEnsure consistency and quality of the service so that all support tickets are progressed in line with operational service levelsReview and approve changes in line with the Change Management ProcessImplement, maintain and test PayPoint DR services as and when required to do soUpdate documentation, policies and procedures as well as ensuring that they are followedCover on call for 1 week out of 4 per monthAny other duties where applicableWhat would we like from you?

The majority of this role will be (Hybrid) and will require some travel to our bright and modern offices in Liverpool.
