About the RoleVentia is currently seeking individuals to join our Care & Custody team in Port Lincoln.Successful applicants will commence as Trainee Care & Custody Officers, undertaking comprehensive paid training and development while working towards a Certificate III in Correctional Practice.Candidates must be available to attend and participate in a five-week, face-to-face paid training program commencing on 21 September ****, in Adelaide.
Training will be completed as a casual employee.Upon successful completion of the training program and all role requirements, trainees will have the opportunity to transition into a full-time Care & Custody Officer position with Ventia.We are seeking individuals with a flexible mindset and solid interpersonal skills who can engage effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to communicate clearly, manage conflict calmly, and navigate challenging situations with confidence.

Willingness to obtain First Aid certification.Available for travel (road and air).
Australian working rights.Ability to pass Police checks, Working with Children Check, and pre-employment medical (including drug & alcohol test).
