We are seeking an experienced Transmission Line Senior Estimator to join our Power Projects team.
This role plays a critical part in preparing accurate, competitive and compliant tenders for complex transmission line and HV infrastructure works, while safeguarding Downer's commercial outcomes.Working closely with project delivery, engineering, commercial and supply chain teams, you will lead estimating activities across the full tender lifecycle from strategy development through to handover, ensuring alignment with the Downer Standard and client expectations.What we're looking forYou are a commercially astute estimator with deep experience in the power and transmission sector, capable of leading complex tenders and supporting the development of less experienced estimators.Key responsibilities includePreparing timely, accurate and market competitive tenders across transmission line and HV infrastructure projectsInterpreting client requirements and developing clear estimating strategiesLeading and supervising quantity take offs and cost build upsManaging subcontractor and supplier pricing, RFIs and tender clarificationsEnsuring accuracy of labour rates, enterprise agreements, materials and subcontractor inputsMaintaining compliance with the Downer Standard,
