A newly created opportunity with an established international organisation undergoing a significant period of growth in Australia.This is a genuine opportunity to own the finance function for a major current operation, reporting directly to the Finance Director ANZ and working closely with Operations and senior leadership.The role offers a strong mix of financial control, reporting and commercial business partnering, with genuine autonomy and the opportunity to help shape processes and financial capability as the operation develops.Candidates with backgrounds in FMCG, manufacturing, logistics & supply chain, food & beverage, industrial services or other large-scale operational environments will be particularly well regarded.The RoleThe position is approximately 60% financial control/reporting and 40% commercial partnering, including:Own monthly financial reporting, management packs and financial commentaryLead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts and cash-flow forecastingMaintain strong financial controls and support audit and tax requirementsPartner with Operations on labour costs, overtime, KPIs and cost optimisationProvide commercial analysis to support operational decision-makingLead financial analysis and business cases for CAPEX and investmentMonitor financial performance,



risks and financial commitmentsWork with senior stakeholders to improve processes and financial visibilityAct as the key finance representative for the operationAbout YouWe're looking for an experienced finance professional who combines strong technical accounting capability with commercial judgement.You will ideally have:CA or CPA qualification12+ years' accounting and finance experienceStrong financial accounting and management reporting experienceProven ownership of month-end, budgeting and forecastingExperience partnering closely with Operations or other commercially focused stakeholdersExposure to CAPEX, investment cases and cost optimisationExperience across financial controls, audit and taxProject accounting experience would be advantageousExperience with a sophisticated ERP environmentThe confidence to operate independently and take ownershipA hands-on, commercially minded approachThe role is predominantly onsite in Western Sydney, with the potential for one day working from home once established and subject to business requirements.
