The Montefiore Foundation is looking for a casual Retail Assistant to jointhe team at our Hunters Hill Residential campus.The Emporium plays a special role in our community; every purchasedirectly supports our Foundation's work to subsidise care for over 30% ofour concessional residents.About the RoleThis is a hands-on retail role working 18 hours per week alongside our dedicated volunteers and Boutique Supervisor.The Retail Assistant is responsible for creating a warm and welcoming shopping experience for customers, keeping the store tidy and helping with stock and sales.Key ResponsibilitiesGreet and assist customers in a friendly and helpful mannerWork collaboratively with volunteers and team membersProcess transactions accurately and handle cash responsiblySupport stock intake, restocking, and inventory checksHelp maintain the store's appearance, including displays and window setupsWhat We're Looking ForMinimum 1 year of retail or customer service experienceFriendly and approachable with a solid sense of teamwork
