Norton Gold Fields is seeking an experienced Lead Project Electrical Engineer to provide technical leadership throughout the development and delivery of a utility‐scale solar farm project at our Binduli operation.Reporting to the Project Superintendent, this position will oversee electrical engineering activities from detailed design through construction, energisation, commissioning and final handover.
You will maintain the technical integrity of the project while ensuring all electrical systems comply with project specifications, Australian Standards, grid connection requirements and electrical safety obligations.What you will be doing:Lead electrical engineering activities from design through to commissioningReview electrical designs, specifications and technical documentationOversee PV, HV/LV, protection, control and SCADA systemsCoordinate grid connection requirements with key stakeholdersSupport construction, testing, energisation and commissioning activitiesResolve technical issues, design changes and non-conformancesMonitor project deliverables, risks,



interfaces and schedulesEnsure compliance with safety, quality and Australian StandardsProvide technical leadership and mentoring to project personnelTo be successful, you will have:A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalentA current Australian driver's licence, White Card and Schedule 26 certificationAt least seven years' relevant electrical engineering experienceStrong knowledge of HV/LV systems, grid connections and power systemsExperience across electrical construction, testing and commissioningKnowledge of Australian Standards and electrical safety requirementsStrong leadership, technical problem-solving and stakeholder management skillsChartered Qualified Engineer status, or eligibility to obtain CPEng, will be highly regarded.Why Norton Gold Fields?
