Baba Shrichand 5 Pty Ltd t/a Indian Curry Hutt is a well-established and highly regarded Indian restaurant located in Park Ridge, QLD.
We are currently seeking a talented and passionate Full Time Chef to join our team.
As a Full Time Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of authentic Indian dishes, ensuring that they are of the highest quality and consistency.
You will work closely with our Head Chef and kitchen team to maintain our high standards of food preparation and presentation.
Key responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a wide range of Indian dishes according to our recipes and standardsEnsure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest quality and within specified time framesMonitor and maintain stock levels, ensuring that all ingredients are fresh and of high qualityAssist in menu planning and development, ensuring that our menu remains current and appealing to our customersTrain and supervise junior kitchen staff, ensuring that they adhere to our food safety and hygiene standardsMaintain a clean and organized kitchen,



following all health and safety regulationsCollaborate with the front‐of‐house team to ensure a smooth and efficient serviceContinuously strive to improve and develop your skills and knowledge of Indian cuisine
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year ofexperience as a Chef in a busy restaurant or similar environmentCertificate IV in commercial cookery or aboveA passion for Indian cuisine and a strong understanding of its flavors and techniquesExcellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene practicesAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure during busy periodsStrong communication and teamwork skillsFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
