We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team and help us create delicious and authentic Indian curries and tandoor dishes.As a Chef at Punjabi Palace Restaint, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of Indian dishes, including curries and tandoor specialties.
You will work closely with our Head Chef to ensure that our dishes are consistently of the highest quality and meet our customers' expectations.Key responsibilities:Prepare and cook a variety of Indian curries and tandoor dishes according to traditional recipes and Punjabi Palace Restaint's standardsEnsure that all dishes are cooked and presented to the highest standardMaintain a clean and organized kitchen, following all food safety and hygiene regulationsMonitor and order supplies to ensure that the kitchen is well-stocked at all timesTrain and supervise junior kitchen staff,



ensuring that they follow proper cooking techniques and adhere to food safety standardsWork closely with the Head Chef to develop new and innovative dishes to add to the menuCollaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure effective and timely service of dishesParticipate in menu planning and cost control measures to maintain profitabilityKeep up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to continuously improve the quality of our dishesRequirements:Minimum of 12 months experience as a Chef, must be in an Indian restaurantCertificate IV in commercial cookery or equivalent qualificationStrong knowledge of Indian cuisine, including cooking techniques and spicesAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyExcellent communication and teamwork skillsAttention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality dishesFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as requiredWe offer a competitive salary of $***** to $***** per year, based on experience and qualifications.If you are a talented Chef with a passion for Indian cuisine and a desire to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
