Working closely with four Foremen, you'll drive productivity, profitability, quality,
and customer satisfaction while fostering a positive and high-performing workplace culture.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support our Workshop Foremen across daily operationsCoordinate workshop workflow and allocate repair orders effectivelyMonitor productivity, efficiency, and workshop profitabilityEnsure repairs are completed safely, accurately, and on timeCoach, mentor, and develop Foremen, technicians, and apprenticesWork closely with Service Advisors and the Service Manager to deliver exceptional customer serviceMaintain workshop standards, compliance requirements, and safety expectationsDrive continuous improvement and foster a positive, engaged team cultureDesired Skills and ExperienceAbout YouYou are a confident leader who enjoys building great teams and achieving results.To be successful, you'll bring:Experience as a Heavy Vehicle Workshop Controller, Foreman, or Senior TechnicianHeavy Vehicle Trade QualificationStrong leadership experience managing and motivating teamsA passion for mentoring, coaching, and developing othersExcellent planning, organisational, and communication skillsA commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer serviceA current Australian driver's licence (HR licence advantageous)Dealership experience will be highly regardedSuccessful applicants must complete a National Police Check and have full Australian working rights.About Patterson Cheney Cars and TrucksFor more than 100 years, Patterson Cheney has been a trusted name in the automotive industry.
