We are seeking an experienced Rig Mechanic/Maintenance fitter to join our Well Servicing Team who will conduct operations from both a field level and office-based management duties.
Based out of our Wellcamp office in Toowoomba, the role will:Main point of contact for all repairs for the Well Servicing divisionDevelop and implement preventative maintenance systems, inspection schedules, processes and proceduresPerform routine and scheduled maintenance or repair work on rigs and other plant equipmentTravel to well servicing sites as requiredAdhere to company operating proceduresTroubleshoot and diagnose service calls over the phone, if possible; andGenerate and prioritise work orders in the preventative maintenance systemDesired Skills and ExperienceAbout You:Ability to work 14:14 rosterReliable and hard working with a proactive attitude towards your work5+ years experience working on Drilling Rigs/Workover rigs and associated plant & equipment (desirable)Experience working with Hydraulics (Essential)Confined Space, Working at Heights, Breathing Apparatus (desirable)PLC experience – highly regardedKnowledge and skills in electrical componentry and/or instrumentation systemsKnowledge and skills in well service equipment/vehicle repair and preventive maintenanceandHC/MC Truck Licence (Preferred), LR Truck Licence (Essential)
