The Secretariat of the Commission for the Conservation of Antarctic Marine Living Resources (CCAMLR) is seeking a Developer with a focus on Software, DevOps and/or Databases to join our Data and Information Systems (DIS) team, based in Hobart.About the Role:Reporting to the Data and Information Systems (DIS) Manager, you will bring current skills and additional capacity into the DIS team.
This is a flexible position — we would like to hear from people with a variety of backgrounds, including Software Development, DevOps and Database Development and Administration.
You will play a versatile role within the team supporting systems development and operations across CCAMLR's technology environment.
Whether that's building APIs and microservices in Go, developing responsive user interfaces in React, automating CI/CD pipelines, managing infrastructure, or administering and optimising Microsoft SQL Server databases.
You'll also have opportunities to contribute to the strategic direction of projects and to support continuous improvement and digital transformation across the Secretariat.To be successful, you will have:Possession of, or substantial progress towards, a relevant tertiary qualification (equivalent relevant experience will also be considered)A minimum of two years' experience in similar rolesEffective communication and teamwork skills,
