Your current company Our Hobart-based client is seeking a versatile Systems Analyst / Business Analyst to support business improvement initiatives, system optimisation, and project delivery.
The role involves gathering and documenting business requirements, analysing processes and workflows, configuring business applications and forms, and identifying opportunities to improve service delivery through technology solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with stakeholders to capture, document, and analyse business requirements.Design, configure, and optimise smart forms, workflows, and business applications.Review organisational structures, roles, permissions, and segregation of duties (SoD) requirements, recommending system and process improvements.Analyse databases, workflows, and user impacts to support role transitions and business changes.Rationalise and optimise reporting environments by reviewing report usage, subscriptions, and business value.Support project delivery, testing, change management, and transition to business-as-usual operations.Contribute to application support, system configuration, documentation,



and continuous improvement initiatives.Required Skills & ExperienceStrong Systems Analyst and Business Process Analysis experience.Ability to interpret SQL queries and develop custom scripts.Experience with stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, and project delivery.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a small, high-performing team.Technical EnvironmentExperience with some or all of the following is desirable:SQL and SSRS Reporting ServicesPower BIBusiness application support and system configurationAzure environmentsJira, Confluence, Spira, and Azure DevOpsServiceNowSharePointPower Automate and electronic forms platformsTesting, change management, and help desk supportSmall-scale project management and project coordinationIdeal CandidateA proactive all-rounder who can balance business engagement, technical analysis, system support, and project delivery while building strong relationships across the organisation.What you'll get in returnContract until June ****
