In this casual FIFO role, you'll access consistent work across 90+ client sites, competitive rates and genuine long-term career opportunities within a well-established national contractor.Get hands-on with crushers, conveyors and fixed plant equipment supporting large-scale mining operations.
As a Mechanical Fitter, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:Executing shutdown, planned and breakdown maintenance on fixed plant and materials handling equipmentOverhauling and maintaining crushers, conveyors, screens, bins, feeders, reclaimers and train load-out systemsCompleting component change-outs including idlers, pulleys, rollers, gearboxes and drive assembliesDiagnosing mechanical faults and contributing to continuous improvement initiativesWorking safely and in strict accordance with permit-to-work,
