You will become a key finance contact across the business, with a genuine pathway into a Finance Manager position as the company continues to evolve and expand.The business prides itself on its collaborative, down-to-earth culture and fast-paced environment.
You will join a lively and supportive team who are passionate about what they do and value flexibility, accountability, and teamwork.The RoleYour role as Accountant will play a key position in the company and will include a wide variety of duties.
Key initial duties include (yet, certainly not limited to):Manage high-volume Accounts Payable processing across multiple entities, including supplier invoices, employee expenses, and reconciliationsTake end-to-end ownership of smaller company entities, managing the day-to-day finance function and reporting requirementsMonitor and manage the group finance inbox, ensuring invoices and queries are actioned in a timely mannerAllocate costs and invoices accurately across projects and entities, ensuring correct coding and project trackingWork across multiple systems including Simpro and Xero to process transactions, maintain records, and generate reportsPartner closely with Project Managers to follow up on purchase orders, approvals, and project-related cost allocationsAssist with payroll processing, month-end close activities, reporting, and broader finance administration tasksPrepare and run project and financial reports through Simpro to support operational decision-makingSupport the Financial Controller with process improvements, operational efficiencies, and ad hoc finance projectsGradually take on increased responsibility across the finance function with a clear succession pathway into a Finance Manager roleContribute to the future growth of the finance team,
