It is also a specialist in the upgrade of naval vessels providing systems and platforms integration capabilities.The Scylla Project Support Officer will be part of a diverse team of engineers, technicians, production staff and management involved in the In-Service Support (ISS) of Collins class submarine.

transmission and retention management of formal correspondence and contract deliverablesAct as moderator for document reviews of controlled project documentsPeriodic Report Review Administration: ensure reports are updated monthly, meetings are scheduled & actions completeFinancial Administration: raise purchase orders & acquit invoices as requiredMeeting administration: schedule & update project meetings, draft agendas, take minutesTravel co-ordinator administration: book flights & accommodation, manage itinerariesAdminister staff allowances: Commitment, Offsite & TravelMaintain and coordinate project actions utilising company tools (JIRA) including office supplies and consumables for the UWS Programmes OfficeSupport the administration of the Scylla ISS SharePoint SiteParticipate in the continuous improvement of administrative/support systems, processes and procedures, including Lean systems and processesActively contribute to HSE culture & improvements within the groupKnowledge/Experience/QualificationsTo be successful in your role,



you will have demonstrated and/or acquired the following knowledge and experience:Minimum of 3 years' experience in a project administration related roleDemonstrated abilities in using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPointMust have very good written and verbal communication skillsMust have good initiative, self-management and planning skillsAbility to communicate effectively at all levelsDemonstrated experience in learning current software packages (e.g. JIRA)Desirable ExperiencePrevious experience working within Defence or Defence Industry environment LEAN or other continuous improvement exposureCert IV Business AdministrationDemonstrated abilities in using ORACLE financial softwarePrevious experience in document controlGOOD TO KNOWPrior to being offered employment, you will need to complete pre-employment police and (role dependent) medical checks.
Applicants must be Australian citizens and be eligible to obtain NV1 security clearance.
