We're looking for an experienced Commissioning Manager to lead testing and commissioning across a diverse portfolio of transmission & distribution, renewables, and transport projects.
Reporting to the Head of Construction & Maintenance, you'll sit on the leadership team, own the commissioning strategy and delivery, and lead a team through every stage of project execution.What You'll DoLead and develop the commissioning team to meet project engineering, commissioning, and handover requirementsOwn the commissioning delivery framework, quality documentation (ITPs/ITCs), and protected work practicesAct as the key point of contact for commissioning programs, budgets, risk mitigation, and status reportingBuild strong relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and stakeholders, including AEMO approval processesProvide subject-matter expertise to Project Managers and Engineering Managers, and resolve issues as they ariseSupport tenders and bids with technical/commercial input,
and help identify new market opportunitiesAbout YouBachelor degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering10+ years' engineering, protection, and commissioning experience across generation, renewables, transmission, and distributionHands-on experience commissioning primary/secondary electrical equipment, SCADA, and communications systemsStrong working knowledge of relevant engineering codes, standards, and regulatory requirementsPrevious experience leading a commissioning or technical team within a multi-functional leadership environmentExcellent stakeholder management, commercial acumen, and problem-solving skills, with a genuine commitment to HSEQWhy ApplyStep into a senior leadership role shaping the commissioning function across an exciting mix of transmission & distribution, renewables, and transport projects, with real influence over strategy and delivery, backed by a supportive leadership team.
