Full-time or part-time opportunity based in Lyneham, ACT$*****-$***** per hour, plus superannuation and salary packagingSupport young people experiencing or at risk of early psychosis within a multidiAbout the RoleAs a Level 2 Clinician, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team supporting young people aged ***** who are experiencing a first episode of psychosis or are at ultra-high risk of developing psychosis.
You will provide comprehensive assessment, clinical case management and evidence-based interventions from intake through to recovery.
Working collaboratively with young people, families, carers and other service providers, you will help deliver coordinated, developmentally appropriate care that supports each young person's mental health, wellbeing and functional recovery.What You'll DoParticipate in intake, triage and clinical assessments for young people referred to the serviceComplete biopsychosocial assessments, mental state examinations, risk assessments, case formulations and treatment plansManage a caseload of young people from intake and assessment through to intervention and recoveryDeliver evidence-based psychological and psychosocial interventions to individuals and groupsProvide psychoeducation and support to young people, families and carersDeliver assertive outreach to support engagement with young people and their familiesWork closely with medical staff, peer workers and allied health professionalsParticipate in multidisciplinary team meetings, clinical reviews and supervisionCoordinate care with referrers, families, carers and community-based servicesManage complex and critical presentations in consultation with senior clinicians, the Team Leader and medical teamParticipate in a rotating on-call roster to respond to crisis calls and make clinically informed decisionsMaintain accurate clinical records,

The Early Psychosis Youth Service supports young people experiencing a first episode of psychosis or showing early signs that they may be at increased risk.
The service is based on the Orygen EPPIC model and provides integrated support to young people and their families.
Clinicians are supported through structured supervision, reflective practice, multidisciplinary collaboration and ongoing professional development.About YouTertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, Occupational Therapy or another relevant disciplineFull professional registration or eligibility for membership with AHPRA or AASWDemonstrated experience completing mental health and risk assessments and delivering evidence-based interventionsAbility to work independently and exercise sound clinical judgement when responding to complex presentationsStrong engagement skills and the ability to work collaboratively with young people, families and carersAbility to work effectively within a multidisciplinary teamCommitment to culturally protected, trauma-informed and developmentally appropriate careKnowledge of relevant ACT mental health and child safety legislationCurrent Australian driver's licenceExperience in early psychosis, youth mental health or an acute mental health setting is highly regardedWhy Apply?
